A man happened to be in front of a monstrous tree. The tree was big and full of branches and roots. It was quite dry and of a gray dusty color as the dust of death. Nevertheless, the man approached the tree, and he heard that the tree was laughing as if it was made and formed of hundreds and hundreds of laughs.
Then, the man said: -What are you laughing about since you are so ugly and frightful.-
And the tree answered: -I laugh at you and at all those who say that I am ugly because I find it very funny that they don't realize that I am truly pretty and beautiful. You look at me and you despise me while I laugh and I will tell you the reason : You see all those trees around that have green leaves and colorful appetizing fruits and you want to run towards them, while you want to flee from me.
I will tell you: Do you know why I am beautiful? Because when you saw me, you could see the beauty of everything else. If I did not exist, if I was not here, everything would be monotonous and you would be bored and scared of seen the same. Now, that you see me, you can better see everything else. I opened your eyes.
